Your Rajasthan tour package begins with your arrival in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and one of India's most celebrated heritage destinations. Depending on your arrival schedule, your driver or tour representative will meet you at Jaipur International Airport or Jaipur Railway Station and assist you with the transfer to your hotel.

Jaipur is popularly known as the Pink City because of the distinctive pink-coloured architecture of its historic centre. Once you have checked into your hotel and had some time to freshen up, the remainder of the day can be kept relaxed so that you can settle into the city without rushing between attractions.

In the evening, begin your introduction to Jaipur with a visit to the iconic Hawa Mahal, one of Rajasthan's most recognisable architectural landmarks. The five-storey façade, decorated with numerous jharokhas, was designed to allow royal women to observe activity in the streets while remaining screened from public view. After Hawa Mahal, continue towards the colourful markets of the old city. Johari Bazaar is associated with jewellery and traditional crafts, while Bapu Bazaar is known for textiles, handicrafts, traditional clothing, souvenirs and local shopping. You can spend the evening browsing the shops, enjoying local snacks or simply taking in the atmosphere of the old city.

If your arrival is late, the evening sightseeing can be adjusted according to your flight or train timings.

Approximate local travel: 10–20 km depending on hotel and arrival point

Approximate driving time: 30 minutes–1.5 hours, depending on traffic and arrival location

After breakfast, set out for a full day of Jaipur sightseeing covering some of the city's most important historical monuments.

Begin with Amber Fort (Amer Fort), located approximately 11 km from central Jaipur. Built on a hill overlooking the surrounding landscape, the fort combines Rajput and Mughal architectural influences and contains courtyards, palaces, gardens and the famous Sheesh Mahal. Depending on availability and your preference, the ascent can be experienced by vehicle/jeep or through permitted visitor options. Any elephant-related activity should be treated as optional and subject to current local regulations, availability and animal-welfare requirements.

After exploring Amber Fort, continue towards the historic centre of Jaipur. A short stop at Jal Mahal can be included for photographs from the roadside viewpoint before continuing towards the walled city.

Next, visit City Palace Jaipur, a sprawling royal complex containing courtyards, gateways, museums and architectural elements that combine Rajput and Mughal traditions. The complex continues to be associated with Jaipur's former royal family, with public museum areas displaying royal clothing, manuscripts, weapons and other historical objects. Rajasthan Tourism

Depending on your pace, you can finish the afternoon with additional shopping, a café visit or leisure time at the hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel in Jaipur, check out and begin your journey towards Udaipur, one of Rajasthan's most romantic destinations. Known as the City of Lakes, Udaipur is surrounded by the Aravalli Hills and is celebrated for its grand palaces, serene lakes, heritage architecture and intimate dining experiences.

You can choose between a private road transfer or a flight, depending on your preferred pace and travel schedule.

Option A: Jaipur to Udaipur by Road
The road distance between Jaipur and Udaipur is approximately 395–410 km, and the journey generally takes around 7–8 hours, depending on traffic, route and breaks.

A private chauffeur-driven vehicle allows you to travel at your own pace, stop for refreshments and enjoy the changing landscapes of Rajasthan. As you leave Jaipur, the scenery gradually changes from the Pink City's urban surroundings to open countryside and the Aravalli landscape around Udaipur.

For couples, the private road journey provides flexibility and privacy and can be particularly enjoyable when combined with comfortable stops along the way.

Option B: Jaipur to Udaipur by Flight
Couples who prefer to maximize their time in Udaipur can opt for a flight, subject to the operating schedule and availability on their travel date.

The flight itself is considerably shorter than the road journey, although airport transfers, check-in and security procedures need to be considered when planning the day's schedule.

Arrival & Hotel Check-in
On arrival in Udaipur, transfer to your romantic hotel and complete the check-in formalities.

Visit City Palace Udaipur
Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the magnificent City Palace Udaipur, one of the most spectacular heritage landmarks in Rajasthan.

Located beside Lake Pichola, the palace complex showcases the grandeur of the Mewar dynasty. Explore its elegant courtyards, ornate balconies, galleries, royal chambers and intricately decorated interiors while learning about the history of Udaipur's former royal family.

The palace also offers beautiful views across Lake Pichola and the surrounding Aravalli Hills, making it an excellent location for photographs and memorable moments as a couple.

Recommended duration: 2–3 hours.

Saheliyon Ki Bari
Continue to Saheliyon Ki Bari, a beautifully landscaped historic garden known for its fountains, marble structures, pools, greenery and peaceful pathways.

The garden offers a more relaxed experience after visiting City Palace. Couples can take a leisurely walk through the gardens while enjoying the quiet surroundings and traditional architecture.

Recommended duration: 45–60 minutes.

Romantic Evening in Udaipur
Return to your hotel in the afternoon and enjoy some private leisure time. You can relax, use the hotel's facilities or prepare for the evening's special experience.

Udaipur to Jaisalmer by Road
The road distance between Udaipur and Jaisalmer is approximately 470–500 km, depending on the route selected. The journey generally takes around 9–10 hours, excluding extended meal and refreshment stops.

The landscape changes dramatically during the journey. You will gradually leave Udaipur's lakes and green Aravalli surroundings behind and enter the drier landscapes of western Rajasthan.

For couples who enjoy scenic road journeys, a private vehicle provides the advantage of travelling at your own pace and taking breaks when required.

Udaipur to Jaisalmer by Flight/Train
Depending on the travel date and available schedules, alternative flight or train connections may be considered. Since direct services and timings can vary, the most suitable option should be confirmed according to the actual travel date.

Arrival in Jaisalmer
On reaching Jaisalmer, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey.

If you arrive early enough, you can enjoy an evening walk around the old city or visit Gadisar Lake for a peaceful introduction to Jaisalmer.

The evening can be kept relaxed so that you are well rested for the following day's desert experience.

Drive to the Thar Desert
Later in the afternoon, leave Jaisalmer city and travel towards the Sam Sand Dunes, approximately 40–45 km away.

As you approach the desert, the landscape opens into vast stretches of golden sand, creating the perfect setting for a romantic desert experience.

Romantic Camel Safari at Sunset
Enjoy an optional private or couple camel safari across the dunes around sunset.
